What is Reiki and what does it do?
“Rei” means Source Consciousness and “ki” means energy. Reiki is a special frequency of divinely guided healing energy that feels deeply relaxing as it brings love, peace and harmony wherever it is sent. Reiki clears energy blockages in the body and releases unresolved emotional pain from the present or past.
In formal research studies, Reiki treatments have been clinically shown to reduce pain, improve mood and speed healing of the physical body, as well.
Reiki is a quantum technology that can be used remotely and does not require a practitioner to be in the same time or physical location as the recipient. It is equally effective whether done over the phone, internet, or in person.⁸
Once a student is initiated into Reiki through formal attunements, they can channel this healing energy at will. The channeling experience is truly effortless and, because it is innately divine, Reiki knows where to go and what to do. This makes it very safe and something that anyone can do!
Learning Reiki naturally activates your intuitive gifts and strengthens your connection to your soul or Higher Self, and this makes it a perfect first step on the path to becoming a healer! What type of Reiki is this?
This program teaches Usui Reiki, which is the original tradition directly from the Japanese founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui, in the early Twentieth Century.
Do the attunements really work in the form of recorded guided meditations?
Yes! They are equally effective as in person attunements. Many people have already done the online course and are reporting miraculous experiences. (See the testimonials above!)
Can this work with my schedule?
Yes! Everything is recorded and available for download or viewing on the course website, so you can learn at home at your own pace, on your own schedule.
Each lesson takes about one hour (not including practice time).

What if I have questions during the course?
You can ask questions on the course website and get direct answers from Tara in a timely manner. She’s very responsive! Enrollment is limited to ensure you will get prompt attention.
How soon can I begin to work as a healer and see clients?
You will be able to start practice sessions as soon as you receive the second level attunements and training in Week 4, 5 and 6.

Why does this course require 21 days between level 1 and 2 attunements, when some teachers offer quick weekend Reiki trainings?
Usui Reiki teaches that it takes 21 days to physically integrate each of the attunements, which are activations to higher frequency light. In this course you get four attunements -- two per level. And that’s powerful!
In order to handle that major influx of light energy, a detox process unfolds as physical, emotional and energetic densities are pushed out by the Reiki to make room for it, and our nervous system takes time to recalibrate. This is a process that should not be rushed through.
If we rush it, we will miss out on the full force of this healing energy; it would be like pushing it through a clogged hose.
This approach also gives more time to learn, practice and integrate the concepts and tools of each level.
Is this program useful for me if I have already been attuned to Reiki by another teacher?
Yes! Many students who have already been trained by other teachers previously report that going through this program was exceptionally powerful. They say it strengthened and amplified their existing connection to the Reiki flow and provided a new depth of knowledge as well, as this course is really comprehensive and goes above and beyond basic Reiki training to include information gathered from Tara’s firsthand experiences as a professional intuitive healer and mentor to new healers.
What is Tara's background in Reiki?
Tara has been mentoring healers as a Reiki Master Teacher for more than 11 years! Her specialty is facilitating miraculous transformations for lightworkers, especially those seeking to address PTSD and chronic pain on the vibrational level.
Beyond her Reiki work, she is also an author, speaker and transformational coach with a BA in Philosophy and MFA in Creative Writing.
